How your key stays yours

Pick the start, keep the rules. Here they are in writing, so you can hold us to every one of them.

The rules we keep

  • Made in your tab. Every key is created by background threads in the page you have open, using your browser's own cryptography. There is no server step.
  • Never uploaded. Pokk has no route that accepts a key. The only server calls the site makes are read-only: SOL price, network status, balances and coin checks.
  • Never stored. Found keys live in the page's memory. They are not written to cookies, local storage or anything else, so a reload erases them unless you saved the file.
  • Checked twice. The thread that finds a match hands over only the seed. The page then rebuilds the address with a second, independent library and checks it against your pattern before showing it.
  • No signatures asked. Connecting a wallet is optional and only reads balances. The site never asks your wallet to sign a message or a transaction.
  • Nothing to pay. Addresses are free. Nobody from this project will ever ask you to send SOL for an address, or for your seed phrase, in a direct message.

Check it yourself

Open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab and start a search. You will see the page and its read-only data calls, and nothing that carries an address or a key. The code that makes keys is the grinding worker script, readable in the Sources tab.

After you save a key file, confirm it on your own machine with solana-keygen pubkey your-file.json; it prints the address.

A coin key before and after launch

A coin address comes from a key that is needed exactly once: to create the coin. Until then, the holder of that key is able to mint some other coin there first, so guard it like a password and launch soon. After creation, supply and authorities are governed by the token program and pump.fun's rules, and the key has no more power over the coin.

Keep the file safe

  • Store the key file offline or in a password manager. Anyone with the file owns the address outright.
  • A key imported into a wallet is not restored by that wallet's recovery phrase. Keep your own copy.
  • Never paste a secret into a site, a form or a chat because someone asked you to.
  • Check that you are on the real site before you start. Links to it appear only on @pokk.

Your turn

Make the address
say your word.

Type how it should open and close, like Gm…Sun. Your own browser does the searching, the key never leaves the tab, and it costs nothing.

Free and private. SOL is — right now; a search here costs 0 SOL. See the board
