Custom wallet addresses
A Solana walletthat opens with you.
Every key is made and kept inside this tab. How it stays yours
A wallet with your name on the front
Your handle, your initials or a lucky number at the start of your address. You get a normal Solana keypair whose public address carries the start and end you chose. It receives SOL, tokens and collectibles, signs transactions and works in every wallet that can import a private key.
Addresses come from random keys, so there is no way to type one in directly. Pokk keeps making keys until one fits and tells you how many it took.
From search to wallet
- Type your word. Short words with any capitals turn up fastest. The form warns you about characters that cannot appear.
- Keep the tab open. Work in other tabs meanwhile. Allow notifications to hear the moment it is found.
- Save, then import. Save the key file first, then reveal the secret and import it in your wallet. Send a small amount before you rely on it.
Typical search sizes for wallets
Every extra exact character means about 58 times more keys. Averages for a few wallet patterns:
| Address | Capitals | Keys on average |
|---|---|---|
| Ab… | Exact | 982 |
| sol… | Any | 1.7 million |
| Sol… | Exact | too many to count |
| hodl… | Any | 1.6 million |
| …777 | Exact | 195 thousand |
Same formula as the maker above; your own speed appears once a search runs.
Running it from a terminal instead? The command-line calculator shows the matching command.
Made so the key stays yours
- Made in this tab. Keys come from your browser's own cryptography in background threads. There is no server step.
- Checked twice. A second library rebuilds the address from the secret before the result appears.
- Never stored. Results live in memory only; a reload erases them unless you saved the file.
- No signatures. Connecting a wallet only reads balances. Nothing here asks you to sign.
Questions
Is a custom wallet address safe to use?
It is as safe as any Solana wallet, provided the key stays private. The address is an ordinary ed25519 key; only the search for it is different.
Can I add it to Phantom, Solflare or Backpack?
Yes. Reveal the secret and use the wallet's import option for a private key, or keep the JSON file for command-line use. An imported key is not covered by your wallet's recovery phrase, so store a copy yourself.
Can I turn my existing wallet into a custom one?
No address can be changed after it exists. You make a new one and move funds to it if you like.
Does it cost anything?
No. Pokk charges nothing for addresses; the only cost is your computer's time while the tab searches.
